Croatian walk of fame
Croatian walk of fame is an educational tourist project through which the recognition is given to eminent and famous Croats, who have promoted Croatia through their achievements in sports, science, culture and art, by placing marble stars on boulevard Slatina in Opatija. The stars are given to both living and departed.
The project was initiated in 2005. The author of the project is mr. Danijel Koletić, who consigned the project’s development to the PR agency “Apriori communications”.
Project was recognized by the city Opatija who now sponsors and hosts Croatian walk of fame. Project is supported by large number of Croatian media, which is why it is so interesting to Croatian citizens and business subject, who see a chance to promote themselves within the project.
Opatija, being known as a “tourist pearl”, is destination for a large number of both foreign and domestic tourists, who all find Croatian walk of fame unavoidable part of city tour. From this year on, a bilingual table with the name of the project was placed on Slatina, and soon after there will be electronic info booth, which will contain information about the project on several languages.
